Neu bei Mahr: Ein Interview mit den kaufmännischen Auszubildenden
Nur, wie lief die erste Woche der Ausbildung ab?
Die ersten Tage lernten wir uns untereinander kennen, indem wir gemeinsame Aktivitäten, wie z. B. Drachenboot fahren auf dem Göttinger Kiessee und einige Kennlernspiele durchführten. Wir fühlten uns direkt wohl, da wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen wurden und die Ausbilder und Mitarbeiter uns unsere Aufregung genommen haben. Dies wurde durch den Betriebsrundgang und das Kennenlernen vieler neuer Menschen und Eindrücke verstärkt. Uns wurde das Gefühl gegeben, dass wir nicht irgendjemand sind, sondern durften sofort dazu gehören. Um einen sicheren und problemlosen Start in die Ausbildung zu bekommen, wurden wir über die Rechte und Pflichten, sowie die Arbeitssicherheit und Arbeitsbedingungen (Arbeitszeiten, Gleitzeitregelung) aufgeklärt.
Carina, wie ging es nach der Kennlern-/ Orientierungsphase weiter?
Wir wurden in unterschiedliche Abteilungen eingeteilt: ServiceCenter, Wareneingang, Produktionsplanung und Auftragsleitstand waren unsere ersten Abteilungen, in denen jeder von uns sechs Wochen verbrachte. Hier ging es erstmal darum, sich zurecht zu finden und ein Gefühl bzw. Verständnis für die auf uns zukommenden Wochen zu entwickeln. In den ersten Wochen unserer Ausbildung folgten zudem noch zahlreiche Schulungen, um uns mit dem Betriebssystem vertraut zu machen; sowie eine Betriebsrallye und der Kennlerntag in Nesselröden. Dies sorgte für einen besseren Zusammenhalt zwischen den kaufmännischen und gewerblichen Auszubildenden - und das nicht nur unter den Azubis des 1. Lehrjahres, denn wir lernten auch die ‚älteren‘ Azubis kennen. Dadurch haben wir zusätzliche Ansprechpartner in unserem Alter gefunden und können uns bei Fragen in Bezug auf die Ausbildung gerne an sie wenden.
Miriam, wie war der „Start“ in der ersten Abteilung bzw. wie wurdest du aufgenommen?
Wir waren alle sehr aufgeregt, als wir in die verschiedenen Abteilungen gebracht wurden. Doch diese Aufregung hat sich bei mir sehr schnell gelegt, denn die Kollegen haben mich sehr freundlich und offen empfangen und ich habe mich schnell sehr wohl gefühlt. Nachdem ich mir dann meinen Arbeitsplatz eingerichtet habe, erklärten mir die Kollegen zuerst, was meine Aufgaben für die nächsten sechs Wochen sein werden.
Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass wir vier sehr freundlich in der „Mahr-Familie“ aufgenommen wurden und uns schnell wohl gefühlt haben.
Und in der EDV, Till? Wie würdest du deine Ausbildungszeit bis jetzt zusammenfassen?
Einfach ma(h)rvellous (zwinkert).
Ich bin wirklich sehr glücklich hier arbeiten zu dürfen. Meine Kollegen sind alle sehr freundlich und haben mir die Integration ins Team wirklich leicht gemacht. Das Arbeitsklima in unserer Abteilung, und generell die Arbeitsatmosphäre bei Mahr, hat mich vom ersten Tag an positiv beeindruckt. Ich gehe gerne zur Arbeit, auch wenn das Aufstehen manchmal schwer fällt.
Apropos „vom ersten Tag“; wie verlief dein erster Arbeitstag?
Um ehrlich zu sein, ich hatte ziemliches Muffensausen. Ich bin extra zwei Stunden früher aufgestanden, um ja nicht zu spät zu kommen. Auf dem Weg zum Firmengelände setzte dann die Aufregung ein. Ich wusste nicht was mich erwartet.
Alle neuen Azubis fanden sich zunächst zur Einführungsveranstaltung in einem großen Konferenzraum ein. Es war ziemlich still, keiner hat etwas gesagt. Wahrscheinlich waren alle genau so angespannt wie ich. Außerdem kannten sich die meisten untereinander auch nicht, aber das hat sich dann nach einigen Kennlernspielen im Laufe der Orientierungstage schnell geändert.
Nach einigen Informationen zum Unternehmen und den Abteilungen, waren wir am Ende des ersten Tages grillen und Drachenboot fahren. Das war schon ziemlich cool organisiert und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Am letzten Orientierungstag wurden wir dann in unseren Arbeitsplatz eingewiesen.
Wie war denn der erste Tag in deiner Abteilung?
„Wie sind meine Kollegen drauf?“, „Kann ich mich gut ins Team einfügen?“, „Sind meine Augenringe auffällig? Ich habe vor Aufregung nur drei Stunden geschlafen…“. Fragen über Fragen, die durch meinen Kopf geschossen sind.
Aber als ich dann meine Kollegen in der Serviceline, in der ich die ersten Wochen gearbeitet habe, das erste Mal getroffen und mich vorgestellt habe, fühlte ich mich sofort willkommen und die Aufregung schwand allmählich. Wir haben uns unterhalten, ich habe meinen Arbeitsplatz zugewiesen bekommen und habe weitere Kollegen aus der EDV kennengelernt. Alles in allem ein sehr interessanter erster Arbeitstag.
Kevin, was erhoffst du dir in den nächsten zwei Jahren von der Ausbildung?
Ich hoffe vor allem, dass mein Ausbildungsberuf in den nächsten zwei Jahren weiterhin so aufregend und abwechslungsreich bleibt, wie er bereits in den ersten zwei Monaten war. Zudem freue ich mich, viele neue und nette Kollegen kennenzulernen und mit diesen zusammenzuarbeiten. Darüber hinaus bin ich sehr gespannt auf die vielen zukünftigen Abteilungen, welche ich noch durchlaufen werde. Auch auf den 1. Block des im Januar startenden Unterrichts an der BBS I in Göttingen freue ich mich sehr und bin gespannt, was mich dort mit meinen Klassenkameraden, also den Azubis aus anderen Unternehmen, erwartet.
Mittlerweile sind wir bereits in der zweiten Abteilung und haben eigentlich gerade erst angefangen, aber sind doch schon mitten drin!
Till, bist du mittlerweile gut im Arbeitsleben angekommen?
Ich denke schon. Langsam habe ich mich an das tägliche frühe Aufstehen gewöhnt und mich gut in meinen Arbeitsplatz eingearbeitet. Ich habe mehr über mein Unternehmen erfahren und viel über unsere Infrastruktur und innerbetrieblichen Abläufe gelernt. Meine Kollegen haben mich sofort ins Team aufgenommen und ich fühle mich sehr wohl in meiner Abteilung. Es gibt schon ein Projekt, an dem ich aktiv beteiligt bin und für welches ich dann im Laufe der Ausbildung verantwortlich bin.
Ich bin gespannt, was mich noch so alles erwartet.
