Mahr's new logistics center: A drone flight shows what it currently looks like.

Construction was completed on schedule and operations are already running at full speed: Mahr's new logistics center (GLC) has successfully started work. A drone flight shows what it currently looks like.

Mahr bundles its entire European logistics in the new logistics center in Göttingen. The old Göttingen warehouse and all former external warehouses are already fully integrated, as is the subsidiary Helios-Preisser. The automated small parts warehouse will also move in there in the near future. The GLC will be fully equipped by the end of June 2024, when the Esslingen warehouse has also moved in. Already today, all deliveries except for the Esslingen handheld measuring devices are made via Göttingen.

Take a look at the drone flight over the new logistics center to see for yourself:

Environmentally friendly and sustainable

The newly constructed building has an area of around 4,000 square meters. A state-of-the-art photovoltaic system on the roof and a dedicated transformer as well as efficient heating technology ensure an environmentally friendly energy supply and heating technology. These are important milestones in Mahr's sustainability concept, as the site in Göttingen is to be as carbon neutral as possible by 2030. In addition, the company has greened all areas around the GLC and planted a number of new trees, among other things.
