New accreditation in the area "Length"
Several new accreditations by the German Accreditation Body DAkkS have now been added. The Mahr laboratories are thus among the calibration laboratories with the most accreditation in the field of "length" in Germany.

Calibrations ensure the metrological traceability of measurement results and thus make a significant contribution to ensuring quality in manufacturing operations. Regular calibrations by accredited laboratories are explicitly required in the automotive industry, for example.
According to the IATF 16949: 2016, companies in the automotive industry can commission Mahr as an "external laboratory" with the calibration of their measuring instruments.
